How to integrate with n8n

Overview

AdHub connects to n8n through the n8n Automation integration and the AdHub App node in n8n. This guide shows you how to add an AdHub trigger in n8n, create the connection in AdHub and verify it with your n8n token.

Before you begin

Note: You need an n8n workspace where you can create workflows, with the AdHub App node available.

Steps

Step 1 — Find n8n Automation in Integrations

In AdHub, go to Settings > Integrations and find the n8n Automation card.

Step 2 — Add the first step in n8n

In n8n, open a new workflow and click Add first step.

Step 3 — Search for the AdHub node

In the trigger search, type adhub and select AdHub App.

Step 4 — Select a trigger

Under Triggers, select the event that should start your workflow, for example On all events or On lead created.

Step 5 — Open the webhook URLs

In the AdHub App Trigger panel, click Webhook URLs.

Step 6 — Copy the webhook URL

Open the Production URL tab and click the URL to copy it.

Step 7 — Open the n8n Integration dialog

Back in AdHub, click the n8n Automation card. Paste the URL into the n8n webhook URL field.

Step 8 — Select trigger events and API scopes

Open Trigger events and API scopes and select the events and access this integration needs.

Step 9 — Create the connection

Click Create connection. AdHub generates a token for the integration.

Step 10 — Copy the n8n token

Click Copy next to the token shown at the top of Integrations.

Note: The token is shown only once. Copy it before you close or dismiss the message.

Step 11 — Create a new credential in n8n

In the AdHub App Trigger panel, open Credential to connect with and click Create new credential.

Step 12 — Paste the token

Paste the token into the n8n Integration Token field, then click Save.

Step 13 — Check the connection test

n8n tests the credential and shows Connection tested successfully.

What happens next

  • The n8n Automation card in AdHub shows Connected with your webhook URL.
  • The events you selected now start your n8n workflow.
  • If the card shows Verification Pending, check that you saved the token in n8n.
