Connecting a Personal AI Agent
Updated
A Personal AI Agent lets you use Claude or ChatGPT with your AdHub account. It works as you. It does not get its own login, seat, or extra permissions.
Where to find it
- Click your avatar.
- Open Manage Profile.
- Open Personal AI Agents.
This is personal. It is not under Settings → Integrations (that is for WordPress and n8n).
If you do not see Personal AI Agents, your role may not be allowed. Owners and Admins turn it on or off per role under Settings → User Management.
What you set
When you create a Personal AI Agent you choose:
- Name — for example “Claude”.
- Platform — so we can show the right connect steps.
- Allowed tools — what this connection may do. You can only pick actions you can already do in AdHub. You can change this later.
Status
- Not Connected — you created it; you have not finished connecting in your agent yet.
- Connected — connected. Last used updates when it actually calls AdHub.
- Revoked — you disconnected it. The link stops working.
How connecting works
Creating the agent in AdHub only gives you a link. You paste that link into your agent. AdHub then asks you to Allow. Sign in as yourself — the same person who created the agent.
Then open the guide for your platform:
For Owners and Admins
Under Settings → User Management, use Who can use Personal AI Agents to allow or deny each role (Admin, Manager, Agent). The Owner role stays allowed so the workspace cannot lock itself out. This is per role, not per person.
